ZEISS with Braille InstituTe

When compassionate organizations come together for a common cause, great things happen.  The Braille Institute’s 2016 Carnival was a day of fun and fellowship made possible by the joint efforts of The Braille Institute, Zeiss, and Positive Adventures.

A global leader in medical solutions for vision impairment, Zeiss contributed funding to the event and brought a team of enthusiastic volunteers to the carnival.

With five centers and 220 community outreach locations throughout Southern California, the non-profit Braille Institute’s mission “is to eliminate barriers to a fulfilling life caused by blindness and severe sight loss”.  The 2016 Carnival is one of many fun events The Braille Institute hosts throughout the year.

As California’s leading experiential education company, Positive Adventures was a natural fit to coordinate the large team of volunteers at this year’s event.
